Lenovo has started sending out invites for the launch of the brand-new smartphone in the Zuk lineup, the Zuk Z2. The event is all set to happen on the May 31. Details about global availability are still not known.

Until now, there is no solid information about the specifications of the Z2, however, it is expected to be the smaller version of the Zuk Z2 Pro which was launched by the company last month.

Recently, Chang Cheng, CEO, Zuk, had shared render images of the smartphone via GizChina. This render also confirmed that the handset will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8890 SoC which is the processor that powers the non-US version of the Samsung Galaxy S7.

The invite, on the other hand, states that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, indicating the presence of two variants of the smartphone. The Snapdragon 820 powers the Z2 Pro as well.

Here is a brief recall of the specs that are offered by the Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro. It is available in two variants of 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB of RAM/internal memory.
