Nike patented the Marty McFlys, self-lacing shoes almost 5 years back. But, there are various patents which never came as reality. Now, Nike confirmed that self-lacing shoes are real and ready to rock the market. Michael J. Fox himself has already gotten a pair of shoes to try. These shoes will come in market next year. Initially, these shoes will be available in limited stock and will be sold in auction.

Just put these shoes on your legs and that is it. It will automatically tighten the laces of the shoes. Surprisingly, it works great and feels like something a science fiction movie. Pricing details were not confirmed.
How it works
If you want to know how these shoes work, you can read the US patent 8769844. I can only explain in short. It has motors system located at the soles which moves to tighten the strips of the shoes. It uses coil spring wrapped around a shaft to pull the strap and has a locking mechanism that keeps belt tight.
