Galaxy Core Prime VESamsung has quietly launched its new budget phone Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE in India. Now the phone is available via official Samsung e-Store for Rs. 8600. It checked the availability for multiple locations and found that stock is currently not available. We can expect official announcement of the phone next week. It will be available in three colors: White, Grey and Silver.

If we talk about hardware specifications of Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE, it has 4.5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) PLS (plane-to-line switching) TFT display and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat. I am not sure why this older version of Android. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It has 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB. It has 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash and a 2 megapixel front camera.

Connectivity features of the phone are Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3G. It also has a 2000mAh battery which is backed by a Ultra Power Saving Mode which claims to offer up to 1.2 days of standby time with just 10 percent battery.
