Infibeam has announced a new logistics aggregator platform Shipdroid.com for Indian online merchants. This online SaaS platform aims to enable e-commerce merchants to integrate with wide range of courier service providers in India. So, merchants will be able to deliver their packages across the country.
This platform is useful for small and medium sized merchants who generally face problems with different courier companies. ShipDroid has tie-ups with major courier service providers in India and will act as a bridge between merchant company and the courier company. Merchants can easily use this platform to select a courier partner of multiple partners. Due to large amount of orders, they are also offering low courier charges which will help merchants.
Merchants will not have to sign multiple courier agreements. They will get one-click pickup, single tracking interface for all courier, cash on delivery support, and easy account management. Good thing about this platform is that there is no minimum volume commitments for merchants.
As of now, this platform claims to have reach to over 20,000 pincodes across 600 different cities of India.
Company has also integrated this platform with its SAAS ecommerce platform BuildaBazaar. Merchants who are already using BuildaBazaar have tested this platform for past few of months during their pilot testing phase.
