Instagram has added five new photo filters in the app for still images. These new filters came after two years. Last time they added two filters Mayfair and Willow back December 2012.
Filters added today are Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua. These filters soften and subtly shift colors to add effects on the photos. See the filters in the snapshot below.
Along with adding these filters, Instagram has also changed the way you used to manage the filters. Now, you can rearrange filters you used most to bring at front of the line. And you can push less used filters at back.
It also replaced the balloon icon on filters with actual images. So, now you can see preview of the filter effect on the photo on the filter icon. It will give you an idea about the filter.
These new filters are available for both iOS and Android. So, update your Instagram app to enjoy the new filters.
Few days back, Instagram also announced 300 million users which is more than Twitter’s recent users count. Instagram is growing fast and in past few months, It has also grown big in India.
