Microsoft has revealed its new photo sharing app called Xim. The app is available for Android , IOS and Windows Phone devices. With this app users will be able to share photos from phone or stored in drive with their friends and family. Now you do not need to pass the phone to your friends just to show them the photos.
“Why huddle around one small screen when you can Xim your photos to your friends? Your slideshow will play on your device and theirs simultaneously. Sit back, enjoy the show,” Note on Xim website reads.
I know you are wondering why you should use XIM if you can already share photos with friends using WhatsApp, Flickr or Snapchat. But in these apps, you need to first select the contact and then send pictures. The process is bit longer. Microsoft Xim makes it easier to share photos. You just have to upload all your pictures which you want to share and then select people you want to share with by your contacts, phone number or email. A link will be sent to them and as soon as they will click they will be be able to see pictures along with you. Only sender needs the app to send the photos. This is the unique feature that you all will be able to see the pictures at the same time and also if you swipe, zoom or pan the picture it will automatically changed for everyone whom with you have shared.
The images can be added on Xim app from Facebook, Camera roll, Instagram, Drop Box and One drive. Pictures that you add on Xim have a time span for which they are available on the app. After this time, pictures will be deleted automatically.
