Meet the founders

MegaVenues was founded by Rahul Rane and Shrinivas Chaphalkar. And now they have a team of 42 people including development, design, business development and marketing.

Rahu Rane, Co-founder and CEO, has a worked with Technologies and Connasys.com Pvt Ltd in past. He has good experience of designing and deploying e-commerce and CRM solutions. He is currently in US and trying to raise funds for the company

Shrinivas Chaphalkar, Co-Founder and COO, handles the day to day operation of the MegaVenues.

Story Behind MegaVenues

Like other startups, it also has a small story behind the founding. Founders were planning a bachelors party for one of their friends in Pune but couldn’t find the relevant information about a perfect place. The whole process of planning, selecting a venue and then manage everything was complex and time consuming. This problem gave birth to MegaVenues and they decided to solve this problem.

Journey so far

It was a touch journey as it was difficult to get big hotels in the listing and assure them that it is worth. But now everything is running as per expectations. megaVenus is now generating leads worth about 4 Cr per week which is big enough for a year old startup.

Funding Status

It is bootstrapped and looking to raise funds. They are in discussions with investors and will soon raise funds to accelerate the growth of the business.
