Yahoo has made another acquisition of the year. This time company has acquired Vizify, a startup that turns your social media data into infographics, videos and more. Yahoo will shut down the Vizify services. It will also issue refund to all customers with a current paid plan. Vizify has also announced the deal via its official website.
“As part of the transition to Yahoo, we will be sunsetting the Vizify service (read below for more detail). As for what’s next, we can’t talk specifics just yet, but we’re excited to bring a more visual approach to data at Yahoo. We have a lot more up our sleeves and can’t wait to get started,” Vizify announced.
All premium customers who bought domain through Vizify will get the instructions to get the full ownership of the domain full of charge.
Vizify was founded in 2011. Till date, it has raised around $1.46 million. Yahoo and Vizify have not disclosed the value of the deal yet.
