Sony has announced its another Z series smartphone Sony Xperia Z1 Compact at CES 2014. The company didn’t talk about the pricing of the smartphone and also the date and time of launch. Since its a Z series smartphone the features are very much similar to Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia Z Ultra. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Talking about the features, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact has a 4.3-inch Triluminos HD (1,280×720 pixels) display along with X-Reality engine for mobiles. It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The battery backup of the smartphone seems good as it has 2,300mAh battery with Stamina mode. As obvious since its a Z series smartphone is waterproof and dustproof. Talking about the connectivity options Sony Xperia Z1 Compact has 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and on the software front.
Talking about the photo clicking abilities, The smartphone has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with features such as Exmor RS sensor, BIONZ processing engine and LED flash. It is also supplemented with a 2-megapixel camera at the front. other features include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up to 64GB using a microSD card.
