BlackBerry has launched its BlackBerry 9720 smartphone in India. It is a budget smartphone that runs on BlackBerry OS 7.1. It It will be available from September 14 for Rs. 15,990. It was announced last month.
BlackBerry 9720 features a 2.8 inch TFT LCD display with 480 x 360 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 806 MHz Marvel Tavor MG1 CPU with 512 MB RAM. It has only 512 MB internal storage with microSD card slot. It is packed with a 5 megapixel EDOF (Extended Depth of Field) rear camera with LED flash. It comes with 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth ad GPS with A-GPS connectivity features.
It comes with 1450 mAh battery that offers up to 7 hours talk time and up to 18 days standby.
