Google Maps is the best option when you want to see any place of earth. With new Google Maps, you can see high quality view of a place in 3D. But, there are few places that are not available on Google Maps. Google has removed, blurred or distorted those places on maps for security reasons. In this post, we are adding 15 places that you wouldn’t be able to find on Google maps.
15 Places You Won’t Be Able To Find On Google Maps:
1.) Space Research Facility: The Google map don’t want you to see Space Research Facility which is the part of European Space research and Technology Center(ESTEC). You can see in the picture below that how it is blocked though it has a visitor Center that is open for public but Google Don’t want you to see.
2.) Russian Missile Site: There is very less information available about this online. According to Wikipedia it is possibly a Russian ICMB complex near town Egvekinot, Russia. You can see below a kind of blank page in Google maps.
3.) Baker Lake, NU, The Inuit Nation in Northern Canada: If you search Baker Lake on Google maps you will found a Blacked out area as shown below.
4.) Ramstein Air force Base,Germany: The NATO air force Hub had been used for the operation of Iraqi freedom and therefore it can be targeted by the terrorist. That is the reason it is partially blocked out on Google maps.
5.) Pacific NorthWest, USA: This place is very near to Oregon Border and it is also rumored to have something to do with FEMA, HAARP. So below you can see in the picture you cannot find anything except a dark space there.
6.) Szazhalombatta Oil Refinery,Hungary: If you search this place on Google maps you will find a flat green grass only, All the buildings are missing every ground is deleted as you see in the below picture.
7.) Huis Ten Bosch Palace, Netherlands: This is the place where Dutch Royal family lives and could be a prime target for anyone so Google has just faded the image so that it is not clearly visible to anybody as shown below.
8.) Unknown Area, Russia: This one is very mysterious, I guess nobody has a clue what it is. Some people say that it may be surrounding area which has been copy pasted from another part of the country.
9.) Mobil Oil Corporation, Buffalo, NY, USA: There are people who criticize that why this place is showing so faded. This place could not be the target of the terrorist. But we can’t be sure that why it was done.
10.) North Korea: I have no doubt that you have heard about this country. On Google maps only country name is showing without any buildings or street or any other identifying details.
11.) Reims Airbase, France: We couldn’t find any clue that why this air base has been blocked. But if you search this place on Google you find below snap.
12.) Indian Point Power Plant, New York ,USA: The Democratic Governor Mario Cuomo has said to shut down the Indian Point Power Plant as she was afraid about environmental concerns because the structure was not strong enough to withstand a earthquake.
13.) Volkel Airbase, Netherlands: It is again dramatic that how the airbase is showing blurred. Wikipedia confirms the presence of nuclear warheads at this base.
14.) HAARP Site, Gakona, Alaska, USA: HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. It is among the most controversial operations that are being currently executed in USA. The Gakhona ,AK site is known for the testing on ionosphere.
15.) Babylon,Iraq: The Area surrounding the Babylon including the rich farmland is only visible. You may say that this have to do with the insurgents there. You can see the below image.
