After being spotted online, now LG Optimus L9 II is official. LG has announced the smartphone in Netherlands. Pricing details of the smartphone are yet to be announced. It will go on sale in October in selected European markets. The handset is the upgrade version of the original LG Optimus L9 launched back in 2012.
LG Optimus L9 II is a mid-range device. It features a 4.7 inch True HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core processor. It is packed with 2,150 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean os. It comes with 8 GB internal storage expandable up to 32 GB. It comes with 8 Megapixel rear camera with backside sensor illumination (BSI) feature and 1.3 megapixel front camera.
Smartphone also features a Infrared transmitter for Quick-Remote. It enables a phone to function as a remote control.
After the launch of this smartphone, LG has upgraded all its mid range Optimus L series smartphone to second generation. LG Optimus L3 II, LG Optimus L4 II, LG Optimus L5 II and LG Optimus L7 II are already available.
