Lenovo Ready to launch smartphone In India

Lenovo is new in Indian market and has recently launched six smartphones along with its flagship Lenovo K900. Now company is planning to fight with Indian low cost smartphones manufacturers with few more low cost smartphones. Company is planning to bring more smartphones that will cost less than R. 5000. In India Lenovo’s cheapest smartphone is available for around Rs 6,000.

Lenovo Ready to launch smartphone In India

Lenovo is new in Indian smartphone market but it has good market share in Laptops. Lenovo got success in smartphone market in China and Company is selling more than 60 smartphones there. Now it wants to compete in India before heading to US. Current Indian smartphone market has been captured by Micromax, Lava, Karbonn and other Indian smartphone manufacturer.

In India, low cost smartphone market is very important. Samsung has also launched a new smartphone Samsung Galaxy Star in India to take advantage of this market. Lenovo also know that mid range and high range smartphone market is hard to compete and needs lots of efforts and better marketing strategy. This is the reason it is planning to hit the low cost market first.

Lenovo has already planned to invest in India in advertising and marketing. It will also expand its partnership with other companies to make it presence better.
