Intex has added one more member to its Aqua series. This new smartphone is Intex Aqua I-5. It comes with nice hardware specifications. It is priced at Rs. 11,690.
Intext Aqua I-5 features a 5 inch qHD display with 960×540 pixels resolution. It is a dual SIM dual standby smartphone. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bea,. It is packed with a 12 megapixel camera wuth LED flash and BSI sensor. For video calling, it has a 2 megapixel front camera.
Intex Aqua I-5 is packed with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It has 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 2000 mAh battery that claims to give up to 5 hours and up to 7 days of standby.

Company has tied up with Farhan Akhtar for the launching of the smartphone. He will also be featured in the company’s commercial. Intex has also announced to sell more than 2 million Aqua smartphones in the country.
