Croma Launches self-branded Android smartphones and Phablet

Tata Group’e retail store Croma has launched its two self branded smartphones. These smartphones are Croma Smartphone 4.63-inch (CRCB2093) and Croma 5.3-inch Phablet. These smartphones are priced at Rs. 8,990 and Rs. 10,990 respectively.

First smartphone from the company, Croma Smartphone 4.63-inch (CRCB2093) features a 4.63 inch capacitive multi-touchscreen display. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor. It features a 8 megapixel rear camera along with a 2 megapixel camera at the front.

Croma phablet features 5.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display. It is powered by a 1 GHx X2 dual core processor. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is dual SIM device. It also features a 8 megapixel camera along with 2 megapixel camera at front.

Croma already has a self-branded tablet in the market launched back on October 2012. That was an entry level JellyBean tablet but failed to get customers attention. Croma is ready to re-enter the market with phablet and smartphone. It will be interesting to see how Croma will perform in India’s gadget market that already has a tough competition.
