Few hours ago, We reported a new low cost phablet by Micromax. Now this new phablet, Micromax A72 Canvas Viva is available online for Rs. 6,999 via Snapdeal.

Micromax A72 Canvas Viva is the cheaper version of Micromax A110 Canvas 2 that is available for Rs. 10,150 in India. Micromax A72 Canvas Via features a 5 inch display with 480 x 800 Pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
It comes with 3 megapixel camera at the back of the device and a VGA camera at the front for video calling. It has 265 RAM and 512 MB ROM. Internal storage of the smartphone is 110 MB that is expandable up to 32 G via microSD card. It has 2G (EDGE), Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, micro USB and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity options.

We are not sure why company has launched. Micromax already has Micromax A100, Micromax A110 Canvas and Micromax A116 Canvas HD in its portfolio. Micromax A100 is not in production but other two smartphones are still in market. If a person can grab Micromax A110 Canvas 2 only for Rs. 10,000 why would he go for Micromax A72 Canvas 2.
