Aircel has announced free roaming for its users by launching a special roaming pack called ‘One Nation, One Rate.’ After activating this plan, Aircel customer will enjoy free one rate for voice, SMS and data in home circle and on roaming on Aircel network.
This plan offers 1 paisa per second for both STD and local calls in home circle and roaming circles. Price of this pack will vary in circles. In Delhi, customer can activate this by paying only Rs. 39.
This pack offers
- SMS – Local and National SMS at Re 1 per SMS in Home circle as well as while on Roaming
- Voice – Local and National calling at 1 paisa per second in Home circle as well as on roaming on Aircel network. Free Incoming calls while Roaming on Aircel network.
- Data – User will be able to carry the home circle rate while on roaming
This move came just before government is planning to remove roaming charges in country. According to analysts, after roaming free service, all telecom operators will see 10 percent drop in the total revenue.
