Adobe Reader For iOS And Android Gets Update, Support Cloud Storage

Adobe has updated its PDF reader app for Android and iOS platform. This new app brings faster experience, performance improvements and watermark support. It also comes with cloud storage integration. So users can upload and access their documents directly from cloud via Acrobat.com account.

The main feature of this update is the cloud support. This was actually expected because many cloud storage service now comes with built in PDF reader. So there is no need to have a PDF reader app if the document is stored on any such cloud storage.

These are the main changes in this update:

  • Store and access documents in the cloud with Acrobat.com
  • Fill out and submit online forms from Adobe FormsCentral
  • Forms support for Validation, Formatting, and Calculation
  • Calculations using Form Field Hierarchies
  • Select and mark up vertical and Asian text
  • View rights managed documents with dynamic watermarks

This new update is already available for Android devices via Google Play store. But iOS users will have to wait for few more days to get this update. Adobe will soon release it on iTunes app store.
