Galaxy Note 10.1 launched

Samsung has launched Galaxy Note 10.1. It was unveiled at MWC 2012 this year, but specification of this tablet has now been improved. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB RAM. It is shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating system.

Galaxy Note 10.1 launched

It features 10.1 inch TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and S pen input. The S Pen is embedded directly in the device and, when removed, automatically launches specially optimised applications, including S Note, S Planner, Crayon physics, Adobe Photoshop Touch, and Polaris Office. It also features 5 megapixel camera at the back of the device along with a 1.9 megapixel camera at the front of the device for video calling.

Connectivity features of this tablet includes 3G, HSPA 21 Mbps, LTE, Bluetooth technology v 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Channel Bonding.

“The advanced technology and features included in Galaxy Note 10.1 give users the power to produce, create and customise communications,” JK Shin, the chief of Samsung’s mobile unit, said in a statement.

Other smart features of the device includes Smart Stay, Pop Up Play, AllShare Play and AllShare Group Cast. that were present in the Galaxy S3.

It also comes with multiscreen feature which allow users to work on different applications simultaneously.

This tablet will be available in 2 versions. WiFi only and 3G with WiFi.

It comes with direct access to Samsung’s e-learning hub which is specially designed for all age group persons. Its content includes eTextbooks, video lectures, interactive coaching and much more, and can be shared with multiple Samsung devices.
