Angry Birds Space was launched almost a month back on March 22 with record breaking opening. Now it has also proved that early success was not the fluke. Rovio has announced that Angry Birds Space has surpassed the 50 million download mark just after the month.
Angry Birds Space took only three days for the title to reach 10 million downloads and just over one calendar month to reach another 40 million downloads.
With these numbers, Angry Birds Space have broken all the sales record and becomes the fastest growing game of all time.
Rovio is also celebrating this milestone and announced, “We extend our deepest gratitude to all fans of Angry Birds everywhere. While numbers like this certainly say something about the popularity of Angry Birds, for us the main goal is to keep creating fun new experiences that everybody can enjoy! There’s only one conclusion to draw: something even bigger is on its way! Stay tuned and keep flinging those Birds!”
Company has also announced this game in a different hollywood style. The mobile gaming giant partnered with Walmart, NASA, T-Mobile, National Geographic and MTV to promote the new title. There are various gravitational fields that will change the trajectory of catapulted birds. But all the birds weapon and pigs are still there in the game which feels like the game is Angry Birds in new avatar.
Initially this game was launched with 60 lvels and then it got 10 levels in a update few days back. This game is available for free of cost on Android but it is not free for iOS and BlackBerry Playbook users.
