Twitter updates app for Android and iPhone


Twitter announced updates to its app for Android and iPhone. This new update improved some features of the app and added some new features. But most of the new features are added to the iPhone app.

Now both apps got bak the the swipe shortcut which allows users to reply, share and retweets quickly without leaving their own timeline.

The updated iPhone and Android apps also both introduce a feature designed to expedite the process of finding friends on Twitter via existing email and phone contact lists.

After this update, the Twitter app now supports Ice Cream Sandwich version of the platform, as well as on Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet.

Twitter has made some changes in user iterface and design for iPhone app. It has updated the design of the direct messages. Users can also mark all messages as unread by tapping a checkmark in the lower righthand corner. There is also an option to change the font size. iPhone users can also activate. Twitter has also added a read-it-later option to save links within tweets for delayed gratification.
