Adobe Flash gets Android 4.0 update

Adobe has released the final update of Flash player for Android devices. Now Adobe is going for HTML 5 and will not work on Flash player for mobile devices.

A spokesperson from Adobe said,”Adobe will release one more version of the Flash Player for mobile browsing, which will provide support for Android 4.0, and one more release of the Flash Linux Porting Kit – both expected to be released before the end of this year.”

Few days back, Adobe has decided to stop the development of flash player for mobile devices. Now this is the final release for flash player. Company had announced few days back,”Our future work with Flash on mobile devices will be focused on enabling Flash developers to package native apps with Adobe AIR for all the major app stores. We will no longer continue to develop Flash Player in the browser to work with new mobile device configurations.”
