Sony has unveiled a new Android device which is a walkman series of music player. This Walkman Z1000 is an advanced walkman of sony which offers big 4.3 LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This music device is powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile dual-core CPU for fast web browsing and gaming. It can play HD and full HD videos. This device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
It also comes with photo playback feature with JPG support. Audio quality of the device is very good and gives perfect music experience. It also comes with FM radio feature. So, you can enjoy FM bands in the music device.
Sony Walkman Z1000 series devices will be offered in three different capacities including 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions priced at JPY 28,000 (Rs 17, 270), JPY 33,000 (Rs 20,354) and JPY 43,000 (Rs 26,526) respectively.
It is packed with a powerful battery that takes 5 hours in charging. A full charged device will play music up to 20 hours and video up to 5 hours. If Bluetooth is on, it will effect battery backup.
