Nokia has announced its touch and type mobile phone Nokia c2-03. It is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone and target to reach new users in the market.
Mary McDowell, executive vice president in charge of low- end mobile phones, said the dual-SIM model will be “affordably priced” and feature maps and location-based services. McDowell, speaking at an event in Singapore, said the phone won’t require a data plan and that its location will be transmitted through wireless towers.
The handset has a slot on the side of the phone that allows users to change SIMs without the need for a reboot. The phone can remember the settings of up to five different SIM cards.
This phone has a 2.6 inch TFT resistive touchscreen (VGA>QVGA) resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.. It has a 2 megapixel camera which can take photos at 1600×1200 pixels resolution. It has 10 MB internal memory which can be expanded 32 GB.
Other features includes Bluetooth, microUSB and FM radio. It is packed with standard 1020 mAh Li-Ion which can give stand by time upto 400 hours.
