Motorola has just announced the WiFi version of its XOOM tablet. XOOM tablet is now available to purchase in india in later the month of june. Nothing is officially announced about the release date and the price of the product but experts are predicting the release in last week of this month.
Rajan Chawla, Mobile Devices business country head for Sales and Operations, India and South West Asia, Motorola Mobility said,”Motorola XOOM redefines what the tablet experience should be. Designed from the ground up with the consumer in mind, it provides more ways to have fun, connect with friends and stay productive while on the go”.
This tablet is Equipped with a dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and 1 GB of RAM. Motorola XOOM provides users with true multi-tasking functionality and the latest Google Mobile services. It features a 10.1 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen widescreen HD multi-touch display with 800 x 1280 pixels. It runs on Android 3.2 which is upgradable to 4.0 ICS. It also has 5 mega pixel rear facing camera with dual-LED flash along with 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
Connectivity features includes Bluetooth, USB and WiFi. It is packed with a powerful battery which provides up to 336 hours stand by time. It also has GPS with A-GPS support. It also has few sensors which includes Accelerometer, gyro, barometer, compass.
Nothing is announced about the release date and price of the product. I hope company will not make users to wait more for this.
